I have such immense love for this duology!
Here is what you will receive (more of) in this book:
1. Literally achingly beautiful writing
2. A swoon-worthy love story
3. Thought provoking themes
This book held a wealth of information that I was dying for after the first: world building, magic system details, relationship dynamics, character backgrounds and developments. Rachelle is just such a phenomenal writer that all of this information is delivered to us so poetically. Her writing is just so inviting! Every time I picked this story back up, I was immediately immersed in the world and the characters, and I was completely invested in what was playing out on-page. Also… I once again found myself thinking deeply about life and love and humanity and ethics and relationships… and everything in between.
This is a series that has touched my soul and will forever own a piece of my heart. The conclusion to Anna and Khiran is bittersweet - it was such a joy to witness the centuries-long journey, but I will also always be desperate for more! Add another tear to the tin for me, Rachelle - you’ve got a new fangirl for life!.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a book that has stayed with me for dayssss after reading! I was hooked on every single part of this book… I felt equally invested in the plot as well as the characters, and I obsessively devoured this book to search for the answers to my questions!
There were also just so many beautiful moments that had me thinking deeply about life and love and relationships.
This book just did something to my soul, and it will forever hold a special place in my heart.
