I enjoyed the book honestly! It was a quick cute coming of age story! I loved the plot of her grandma and everything like that. It was just a nice simple read which I enjoyed. I loved how much we got to see her grow and overcome her fears! I would recommend reading it if you like Y/A. :)

I really really liked this book! I mean there were some things I didn’t like like how dependent they were on each other for happiness and stuff like that but I can also understand why they would be like that! Also I loved how instead of archer being like “oh well you deserve better blah blah blah” he actually BECAME better! Like that was sooo nice to see how he wanted to be with her but knew he had to work on himself first!

I really really enjoyed this book honestly! The ending was so funny to me because of how much happened in such a short time that it felt rushed. But I still really enjoyed and I did not expect the plot twist and I loved the meaning behind lotus! It was sooo cute and it was just very nice how it was all tied up! I love the romance between Sydney and Oliver and I loved how much they cared for each other. At the beginning when everything was happening I was wondering if some things were going to be explained and luckily they were towards the end! It’s a fast read with a lot of emotional and deep stuff so be prepared when you pick us this book.

I definitely have some mixed reviews about this book! I think the reason I didn’t enjoy it as much is because it is a little young for me and i might be a little too old for this. I also didn’t like how possessive he was over poppy and just like how they we’re already making out at 8 years old was a bit strange. The writing was something else for sure and it could be a little cringy and cheesy at time and you could tell a women wrote Ruen but a 17 year old guy would never say some of the things in the book lol. It was really really sad though and it was sad seeing everything happen at the end.
<<SPOILER>>
Why did ruen die at the end?? He was literally 27 years old and he died to be with poppy?? Like what about his younger brother who loved him and adored him?? Idk that was sooo weird to me haha

My my my this book was so heartbreaking and sad. God this has to be one of the best memoirs I’ve ever read. It’s so raw and honest and so short but it conveyed every emotion. 100% would recommend.

Omg this book was so so cute!!! I actually cried which how much they loved and care for each other. It was just so pure, like I’m actually obsessed. I loved the talk about mental health and family issues and how they can really mess you up as a kid. A beautiful charming book that I will recommend forever.
