this book was so warm

and as with everything anita kelly writes: healing, hopeful, a joy from start to end

if you’re a fan of anita kelly at all already, you will be a fan of this book, these characters, those dogs and bay books. this story was everything i hoped it’d be and more and found me at the perfect time <3

i would like to have words with k ancrum pls

after reading icarus and having it fall to a favourite book of all time, i was nervous about reading this one but it gave me everything that i’m missing after finishing icarus. i love this book, i hate it, i love it & hate it and think all of these characters deserve softer hands to hold

this is an enjoyable series so i’ll definitely continue. some dialogue is still cringey, but it’s fun, emotional at times and full of everything classic superhero stories have but more queer! excited for the next one :)
