VanderMeer said, what if I wrote a fucked up script for Meerkat Manor by way of Animal Farm and Euripedes and Dante and Cronenberg and Philip K Dick and Ligotti but don’t worry *fleabag voice* this is a love story (set in Old Yharnam). Need this guy to write a screenplay for a movie for this with art direction like early 80s WET n SQUELCHY horror movies as it deserves to be, Sticky as hell. Only critique is that the ending arrives very abruptly, but we can imagine the (my 1048583 meeekats have unionized) scene.

A reread in prep for the movie and they’re both different, the movie yassified things a little bit but still enjoyable... adapting the BAR FIGHT SCENE WOULDVE been so..! we could’ve had it all. Anyway I think trans kids deserve to k*ll transphobes amen.
