Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

I do want to give this 1 star or 0 star but Crescentia is such a great character that I can't simply rate it so low. 2 stars, it is.

My blood is boiling right now. OH MY GOD, THIS BOOK ANNOYS ME SO MUCH TILL NOW. I don't know but I just hate this book.

What are my reasons?

Our main character, Theodosia, is a fucking hypocrite. Imagine attempting to murder your best friend, but telling her that she's the "traitor". Ahh, how dare you?
Picking Søren over Blaise. Just... A BIG MISTAKE. Stupid girl.
Really, the plot is nowhere to be found. The heck am I even reading??? This book is just all about trying to escape, escape, escape, but still can't manage to ESCAPE?!! I get it, that it will be too easy for her to escape and that it does not have any challenge if she did manage to escape. So Theo had been imprisoned at the end, and I'm so happy because she deserves it. Like, why do I feel happy that the main character is suffering? Why do I feel proud that Crescentia is about to do her revenge? Because THEODOSIA IS THE WORST CHARACTER EVER.

I still feel like screaming. The only thing that I like about this book is Crescentia. Nothing else.

Repetitive AF. The first two books are great, but this one? Dragging and nothing much is really happening. Been waiting for the explosive climax for this book but can't seem to find it. Seriously, I wanted more. I appreciate that it's still great, but come on. DO SOMETHING. Will probably read the fourth book when I'm ready.
