I love a good historical romance novel. They all follow the same mold for me. But I did grow to like the MMC and the FMC got out of her shell and became a real person. Overall a fun and light read. Would recommend if this is your genre.

I really enjoyed this book even though I could see the plot points coming from a mile away.
A few chapters before the big reveal I would be "ah yes this is going to happen". While I do not find it that horrible I could have done with more betrayal and twists and turns for this book.
Enjoyable overall but glad I got to listen to them for free. Would get them in a sale in the future but not full price.

I liked the second half and a bit of the second the best part of the series. The first part of this book is rough. I was not really into that. The premise was fine. But it just dragged on. Not only that but the way the mmc has sex with the fmc is not my cup of tea. But you do start to love the characters and they grow on your. Too bad things go downhill after the second half of part two. It is an okay read. But I am sad I spend money on it.

After commited to the first two books I wanted to finish this. But it was a bit of a struggle for me and the quality went downhill halfway through book two. Things went way too easy for our main couple and the characters showed hardly any development. Really a big bummer because I really saw a lot of potential in the other book(s).

While it isn't a book that goes deep I loved listening to this. It had me laughing often and hard. Katie and her rats are comedy gold together with our lovably snarky necromancer. I would advise you pick this up. It is lighthearted fun and greatly written.

I was hooked by this book from the beginning but all the magic rule were confusing. Not everything was clear to me but I loved the way the chapters are divided between present and past. It keeps you hooked. I wanted to know what happened and couldn't stop listening. 10/10 would recommend reading the series. It is magnificent.

I really liked reading it. The writer had left hints for us throughout the book but the ending felt really rushed. I would have liked a few more chapters to ease in to it a bit more.
The relationship between the mmc and fmc is nicely written. As someone who loves science and pathology it was really cool to see a book with it so prominently in the foreground.
Overal a fun read.
