Firstly, the marketing for this is wayyy off which is super confusing. It’s not a romance and the characters explicitly state that their love for each other is platonic multiple times towards the end. However, the sheer amount of diversity and representation was beautiful (especially of actual fat characters, that made me really excited). The story is well written and obviously well thought out however the fact there are no breaks in the story does cause it to drag on. It felt a lot longer than it was because there were no chances for the reader to breathe or process what has happened.

Very, very well done. I’m not the kind of person who cries at media (most of the time) but I could see how this might destroy someone.

My parents used to own this series when I was very little. Before I could read I would flip through the pages and carefully unfold all of the letters. Finally reading it felt like a long time coming and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
