What an adventure! I can't wait for the second book! I absolutel loved the characters,  the only thing that was a miss was that it seemed like some of the characters actions/plot points weren't fully flushed out.

It has been a while that I have finished a book in a day but I could not put Thornhedge down! I loved Toadling and T. Kingfisher's whimsical take on a fairytale.

An enjoyable, although dark, fast-paced read.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.
Interesting and informative read. A bit repetitive since it is a collection of essays. I might pick it back up again in the future

Amy McCulloch is great at writing an atmospheric read. Minus the murdering, this book really got me interested in taking an Antarctic cruise. This book is a bit slow in the beginning for a thriller, but I enjoy a slow-build up. I also enjoyed listening to the audiobook since it was narrated by Scottish narrator.

Although published in 2015, still just as relevant to today. Since this includes a collection of speeches from Angela Davis, I recommend listening to the audiobook because she is also the narrator.

I had previously read the Hunger Games when it first came out and I remember enjoying it then. With the recent release of the prequel movie I wanted to revisit the original and I have to say it still holds up!!
