this was a solid debut, in my opinion. some things got repetitive like anything and sometimes the purple prose was too heavy to handle but at its core, honey girl tells a very honest story and the writing did seem beautiful at some places ngl.

fuck, this was good. it's so weird because i remember disliking apollo in the first book but now i adore him as a character. i love how this series deals a lot about abuse (especially parental) and the conclusion was satisfying as well. i really enjoyed the series and i can DEFINITELY see myself reading it again!
