Quick, quirky book. Love how different the little was with its creatures and witches. I love how there was mates, interesting appendages lol, and a decent plot. I just might go back and continue reading the little series when I want a nice quick pallet cleanser because of how cute interesting it is. I kind of want to see how it turns out.

The book spoke to the soul. The leave of grief and emotion involved in this book was intense but so so beautiful. For anyone who has lost anyone this book may or may not be for you. It’s much about the struggle of grief and healing. The love that develops between two people through all of that. The triumph and healing to be a better person, to grow and accept. It really goes through every stage in detail. It made me laugh and tear up and made me heavy and light. One of the top reads for me this year. If you want an emotional roller coaster and tears, read it!

This book was both emotional and just plain smutt. It gave such a wide outlook on polyamory and the dynamics between not only the group as a whole but each relationship individually. The author even said at the beginning that that was what this book was solely about and I love that she told the truth lol. The growth of each character told something different about not only who each were as a person but also what they brought to the group. They all grew together, supported, and encouraged feelings, thoughts, and actions for everyone involved. It was a beautiful story to read what goes on between them behind closed doors of a poly relationship and the hardships and struggles that can happen but the rewards you can gain from such a relationship. I hope that this book and others like it can give the possibility of opening someone’s mind to not judge and to accept.

I honestly was shocked at how much I liked this book but in a good way. After reading the trigger warnings I thought I was in for the ride of my life but it ended up being a little more milder than I had anticipated. The taboo plot of the book was fun and twisted but in the best way. I couldn’t put the book down, I was entranced my the characters and the story, I fell in. I wish I had gotten a little more of an ending but I’m not mad at what was there. The book made me feel in all aspects which I always hope for when I read. So far this is a top read for me this read and I will be buying as a trophy book for my shelf.

Super cute quick read. Good writing, it wasn’t paced super fast to where you needed more or felt things were left out. Nice plot and twists. Great characters, descriptions, funny banter moments. Book had just a little bit of everything you want in a quick read palette cleanser. Loved it!

Slightly confusing, very slow paced. Didn’t figure out much the whole plot and climax didn’t happen until 90% through. Wish the characters had more depth, they were all very surface level. I love the concept the author was going for and she did it pretty good but definitely feel it could have been flushed out a bit better. Then again putting a structured novel and poem lyrics together seems difficult. I enjoyed it well enough but want a little more of the underlining “why” of the story. I think more of that will come in book two so I’m eager to see how that happens.

Decent plot but not a lot of character development and for the plot of the book and it being maybe 1 chilli pepper was surprising. It felt rushed as you got to the end as seemed there could have been more but wasn’t. Writing and plot good but could have been more to it.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 45%.
Gay, not in the mood, somewhat slow plot but not bad. Will probably go back eventually
