I am so upset at the way this ended. Maybe that’s a sign that it’s a five star book and i’m just not in the right gram of mind right now because i’m so upset. I’m furious with her brother, like so angry.
I also did find the jump from discovering who they were to deciding to get married a little odd. But, I have also never experienced war before and I know that is a completely different experience.
I do think they are so sweet and I have to start the second one right now before I sob about Roman.

Nesta was someone I deeply despised when reading the first four books. Her redemption arc is truly amazing! I didn’t even like here that much until she truly started healing and making steps towards making amends. Her friendships with the Valkyrie and her relationship with Cassion were among some of my favorite parts of this book!

While I think there could have been more conflict, this provided so much insight into their lives after the war. I like that I can come back to this if I wish and know that nothing tragic is going to happen. It can make a book boring at times, but I do love to see these characters happy and getting the peace they deserve.
