An easy 5 star read. Love that the MC’s are older, the crew of characters are well developed & diverse. The spice was sppppicing! Another excellent read by k.Sinko, cant wait to see whats next.
Keeper of Enchanted Rooms: Whimbrel House, Book 1 by Charlie N. Holmberg, Charlie N. Holmberg

Fun magical realism, loved the dual plots that magically twist and turn through the story. The audio was fab! Gave monster house vibes
The Sirens by Emilia Hart

Well i loved the concept, the execution fell a little flat for me. While there was lots of action and mystery that kept me wanting to read on, the prose was so redundant and rather repetitive i felt myself consistently losing interest. The ending was good though.

Haunted Ever After by Jen DeLuca

⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ so I have mixed feelings on this one- it’s landing somewhere between a 3 & 3.5 star for me. I really loved the magical realism portion, but where the romance came into play, felt a little flat for me… It almost felt a little like insta love. But the ghosts & haunted portions were hysterical and kept me guessing. Think of Practical Magic mixed with a coffee shop & small town ghost tours

OH man I had beef with Gabriel
but he redeemed himself- in the afterword, Jen mentions that this book is a journey and my gosh she's spot on!!! When I saw that this was a firefighter romance; I had to read. Hubby was a firefighter for 12 years and sometime I just gotta scratch that itch
I adored Avery and her character growth, the therapy sessions with Dr. Ruben were such a refreshing POV and the switch up in part two?! LOVED IT
- second chance romance
- emotional roller coaster with a HEA
