This was not a favorite of mine at all. I wanted to love it but the theater/drama references really made me lose interest. I couldn’t connect with the characters that ended up making it cringe. I had high hopes for this one. It’s also about 200 pages too long.

Wow. I don’t know why it took me so long to start this series. It’s so good. Nick & Charlie are so sweet and have so much chemistry. I can’t wait to see where this goes!!

This is the third book of Chelsea’s that I’ve read and hands down my favorite. Emmy & Mav were effing magic. I loved the inclusivity of women in the NHL {especially during playoffs RN 🏒}, I loved the flow of side characters… they added so much extra personality & depth to the story, AND  the hockey references were on point. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!! 10/10 recommend if you love hockey, Elle Kennedy, Liz Tomforde, or even just a wholesome sports romance.

NO third act break up
LOTs of spicy moments

I’m forever a Janice fan. Her writing style is so unique and it sucks me in every time. If you love thrillers that only give you tidbits of information at a time that keep you going till the very end. Anything from Janice is the way to go. When I tell you the Examiner threw me for a loop the entire time, I’m not joking!!

I’m officially a Jessica Joyce fan. Wow I loved the writing style and the adventure. At times I found Noelle a little immature but I loved her growth on the trip & her grief journey. My gram & I have a very special bond so I can only imagine the pain of not hearing her voice again! Can’t believe I waited so long to read, very excited for The Ex Vows

I felt like it dragged on more times than I can count, it’s like reading an episode of law & order…. Criminal minds… any sort of criminal procedural show.

3.75 rounded up to 4. What a fun & cozy read. I loved the friendship development between Callum & Lark. The banter was so quick and genuinely funny. Is it life changing no? Is it reading escapism to the fullest? Absolutely. Looking forward to the other 2 books.

Theres something about a classic enemies to lovers, this was perfect. Elle never disappoints. Filled with witty banter, lots of steam and heart warming moments… I’m loving this series so much.

This is definitely quirky but unfortunately I don’t think it will stick with me. I loved that both the MCs were older and that the main story revolves around birds but I had a tough time getting through it.
