Very clever and intriguing premise. I liked it a lot, but toward the end there were times when I felt less like I was reading a self contained and entertaining story unto itself and more as though I was reading a set up for a series. I like a good series, but I don't like feeling as though the only purpose of a book is to lure me into one. A bit unsatisfying, ultimately.
