I absolutely loved this graphic novel. A world where people suddenly disappear leaving only a handful of people behind. 2/3 survivors have to learn to trust the unknown in order to survive.

The art was stunning and it fit this book beautifully. It made me think of how people can often be scared of the unknown. Untrusting, even when there’s no real threat in front of them.

This is a very sweet book that I think a lot of children would love and relate to. This is an inspiring tale about a kid who struggles to speak and learns to accept and love himself and his voice.

The audiobook added a nice charm to it by adding background music and sound effects that I think all children would love.

I enjoyed this book much more than I thought I would.

This story follows Gregor who unexplainably turns into a bug and has to lean onto his family to help take care of him. However as time goes by we see the how pure the love Gregor has for his family. So it’s heartbreaking to see when his family sees this new transition in Gregor’s life as a burden. I really felt bad for Gregor during this entire story.

I finished this book about two months ago and I still can’t stop thinking about it. Wow this book is mind blowing. Can’t wait to read the others in the series!

Very sweet queer love story, never seen one just like this before. It was wholesome. I read this when I was feeling down, and this book was able to lift my spirits. Loved it.
