I actually thoroughly enjoyed it! It wasn’t what I was expecting and it wasn’t written the best but I sat there on edge wondering what on earth was going on the entire time and it was amazing
2 Stars less than the others because the ending was baddd,, where’s Toby gone? Does she not even try to meet her mums family? No meeting eve? No getting her family back? Nope just no more parents and she’s kissed Jameson again,, slow way to not really figure much out,, I did enjoy the majority of it though
This book was it for me, a rollercoaster of gorgeous words, some hit home in a sad way and some simply highlighted why I couldn’t give a single fuck about most people, a book that truly put all my thoughts into words
I mean it’s really good, the illustrations are absolutely gorgeous! It’s just not my type of thing really
I haven’t read much recently I’ve been so busy and in my own head so this was a good easy read to get me back in the swing!! Not an amazing book by any means but I enjoyed it
This book definitely isn’t for everyone, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone however if you read the trigger warnings and it’s a book you’re okay with reading then I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. I loved the main two characters, the plot was heavily hit & miss I enjoyed the book “Wretched” by Emily McIntire (from the same series) much more and would recommend that one. I can’t really say much else, still not entirely decided wether I loved it or hated it.
A twisted love story, a mafia, a businessman, dementia, and bird puns. A story where, for once, I was genuinely interested in the actual plot line over the romance! The characters were interesting, the plot was good (not amazing but certainly enjoyable) and the twists and turns kept me on edge! I have to say I’m intrigued and I want to read the second one, I’ve only given it a 4 star review so there’s room in case any of the others in the series are better!
Just as good as the first one, the plot was *chefs kiss* the characters are brilliant, I love a sassy female lead and Penny fits the bill perfectly. Again, it’s a twisted slow burn romance and I wouldn’t recommend it unless it’s the type of thing you prefer to read because it isn’t exactly an easy read. I am enjoying this series though and I will be started sinners consumed immediately.
This book is on a solid 4.75 stars…better than the other two (which I’ve been waiting for, even though it’s not quite a solid 5 stars I’m waiting for the next duet to come out in May when I can ball my eyes out over Gabe finally being happy before I can rate any book in this series 5 stars), I love Rafe, I love Penny, them together is amazing. The plot as always was absolutely beautiful, I love how I get more and more of Rory & Angelo’s story throughout these and I can’t wait to get more of everyone’s stories in MAY (heartbreaking that I have to wait that long) I’m genuinely happy & excited for the next books to come out and only one series has successfully made me feel this way before. LOVED IT.
