I have to admit there were times that I find it hard to continue reading. There were several mentions of as*-kicking by the fmc and mmc but they never really delivered... until the final fight, that is. It did made the finale amazing but the first several chapter were tedious.
Also, I'm glad about Queen Jessica's change of character. I think I like her more now and I might read her series next. As for Logan, I have mixed feeling about his end. I honestly don't know if I should be happy or not.
There were a few errors, the same types of error as before, and I'm confused about the number of alphas mentioned on the last chapter. It said 6 but I only counted 5? Again, nothing too distracting anyway.
All in all, I like this series and it's highly recommended. It's the right mix of funny, emotional, spicy, and plot.

It's so nice to finally see all the guys working together. There were just some dull moments that I had a bit of difficulty reading through and errors, but other than that, all is well. The last chapters were really tense and the cliffhanger was criminal. I can't help but hate the queen and her harem I know their characters were from another book but looking at how they behave here, that series will go on my BIG NO list. I was also hoping for a redemption arc for Logan. I have no idea why I desperately want him to change. I guess I have some issues. Either way, I'm also fine with him being the villain. His last move really sucks. Jumping now onto the last book. Happy reading!

Book 2 is as amazing as book 1 is. There are still several grammatical and typographical mistakes, though, but nothing that's too distracting.
There are a lot of drool-worthy, swoon-worthy moments, and the spice is just right. I also like the antics and funny moments between the characters. This book ends in a cliffhanger so be prepared. Thankfully, the series is already completed so you can jump right into book 3.

I really enjoyed reading this book! Although, the way the characters were written make them sound younger than their supposed age. There are also some typographical and grammatical errors. Thankfully, none of those problems made reading too difficult. I don't mind them too much.
If you're into:
▪︎ FMC outcast turned savior
▪︎ Possessive and flirty Alphas
▪︎ "Mine" attitude
▪︎ Shifters, Vampires, Witches, and other PNR creaures
▪︎ Rejected Mates
▪︎ Revenge Plot
▪︎ Oppressed Packs
Then this book is definitely for you!

I encountered the same improvements and problem from book 3 on this one. Like what I said before, the writing quality and the flow of the story is better. The downside is that the pace was so slow. The plot only moved forward by chapter 30. So, that's around 80% of the book where nothing happens. Thankfully, I'm invested on this series already, so I managed to finish the last book. It isn't the best one out there but it's enjoyable none the less.

This is definitely much better than the first two books and I can cleary see the improvement on how the scenes were written and their flow. There's still so much room left to grow, though, and I'm looking forward to how it'll play out on the last book.
However, one problem that I had with this book is its extremely slow pacing. Compare to the first two, this one is like riding a snail. The first half of the book revolved solely around Ollie's accident while the second half is a whole lot of nothing, followed by Haliee's pregnancy and abduction on the last few chapters. Reading was tedious and I almost preferred the ridiculous drama with poor writing quality over this.
Anyway, as long as you don't take this series too seriously and just read it as it is, you won't get bored too much. Also, it kinda grows on you.

“Dashing down the halls,
with a mouth filled up with dong,
I bet she paid just to get laid by the asshole following along,
Ohhhhhhh,
She’s a hoe, She’s a hoe,
She’s got dick on the brain.
She trips and kneels down on her heels just to get Peter’s wang.”

This book is straight-up juvenile. You know when you read something that makes you cringe, roll your eyes, and scream: Is this book for real?! BUT if you overall look at it, it's actually not that bad, and the whole absurdity just adds to its entertainment value and makes things interesting? Yep, this book is kinda like that. The drama just goes on and on and on and there are so many akward moments, but I can't put it down since it's entertaining in its own way.
The writing quality isn't the best, but it's arguably not the worst as well. I may read the next book just for fun. I think it's important to mention that I'll be reading this series as a palette cleanser. I've read two series in a row that both have deaths of major characters. I think I need the classic psycho/obsessive/possessive alphaholes. Don't get me wrong, this book is dark but not like quality dark (if you get what I mean).
For the main question: do you recommend this book? If you're into dark stories, classic psycho guys trope, and you don't mind a bit juvenile and sloppy writing quality... then I think you'll enjoy this book. Happy reading!

This series is amazing and the final fight was exquisite. My only problem is that there's a death of major character. I won't say anymore since I don't want to spoil it but it's really bittersweet. I had hope there's another way. It's more of an open-ended ending also.

Dual POV between the Marshal and the Messenger? Heck, yes!
This format worked especially well since their group got separated, and their reunion was both blissful and heart-wrenching. I'm so happy to see more of Sirius and finally, Eledan got his spotlight. Kinda, for a bit. And her drone! Sota never fails to make me laugh and his upgrade really is amazing.
I'm so looking forward to their last fight. I can't wait to read book 5!
