Chloe's finally revealed background is traumatizing and there are semi-explicit flashbacks of torture and planned SA. There is no SA on page, but this one was a struggle for me. I loved this book and Chloe's sidekick Dwayne, the Battle Goose, may be one of my very favorite animal sidekicks, EVER. Absolutely recommend.

This fourth and final (for now) book in Heather G. Harris's Witch series of course, totally fantastic! Amber's brilliantly woven story comes to an epic and very satisfying conclusion in Destiny of a Witch.

Yes, Amber tears down and destroys the evil witches, not without some pain and sadness, but with the work of her many friends and supporters at her side, they overcome and it's marvelous.

I've really loved the slow-burn, enemies to lovers romance, between Amber and Bastion with this book detailing what a strong and lovely pair they are and will continue to be. I've said it before, but I'll say it again... Heather is a master storyteller and Amber's story has shown us the best of her skills. Amber’s character has grown so much since we first met her in Jinx's books.

My favorite side character is still Benji, and I still want to give him a hug and introduce him to some 80's rock. Heather makes characters, like Benji, feel so utterly real and you can't help to cheer on and race through their adventures to be sure they made it safely to the final page (but seriously, how many times does my favorite side character need to almost die?).

5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Out-freaking-standing!

This was both laugh out loud funny and an excellent mystery with loveable and interesting, well developed characters. I can't wait for the next one!

Our MC Hope has just been given her dream from the witch council, a witch shop of her own. Unfortunately, the prior witch was up to no good and so were her clients and now things are getting hinky for Hope. Hope is a great name for this character, with her cheery positive affirmations via her Grandmom like:
"You didn’t need great power to be a great witch. You just needed to help your community to the best of your abilities."
“You can’t depend on the lottery, but you can on a positive attitude,”
This was a fun, and light read with a cozy mystery and a hint of romance with the sexy local grumpy shifter Ian. Ian was a great (I'm sure he's the love interest but this is slow burn baby) hero to our damsel and his strays were pretty sweet too.
Also, Fluffy! I love animal characters in books, even just goofy happy dogs, and I think there is more to her that meets the eye.
For sure a recommendation if you enjoy a light Fluffy read. (Sorry, pun totally intended.)
