This book was an utter delight, making me laugh steadily throughout. I loved following our protagonist, Charles/Uncharles as he tries to make sense of the world and what he encounters outside of his manor life, all while stretching the limits of his autonomy.
This book is humorous and clever, but there is a very serious underlying message that is delivered with utter precision.
I listened to the Audiobook, narrated fabulously by the author. Seriously, Adrian Tchaikovsky does such a fantastic job narrating, I think he should narrate more of his books.
