These characters are MESSED UP. I really started to loathe Nick and his controlling narcisstic ways…but then Noah started aggravating me too. I’m obviously hooked and will have to read the third book but these two are so gross for each other. It’s all forbidden infatuation. With so much miscommunication it’s nauseating. The tension is palpable. Like a train wreck u can’t look away from…interested to see how it’s going to come together in book 3

This book was not it. I love the Creighton character. I love a broke  man. I even love a good dark romance with CNC…but this made me feel icky about 80% in. There were zero redeeming qualities and this would have been a book I would have been completely fine with a non HEA ending. This was not it for me and didn’t even compare to God of Malice.

This book was …something I didn’t know my heart needed. Mr Klune has done it again. Same broody male Scrooge like character, in a whimsical, eccentric world. Teaching life lessons and spitting quotes like poetry for my ears. This will be another re read for me just like The House in the Cerulean Sea was. The relationships and characters throughout were so heartwarming and I enjoyed every page of this cozy romantasy.

This book was HAWT . Loved every second of it. I gave it a 4.5⭐️ tho cuz some mannerisms were cringy and brought me out of the story. I ate all this shit up tho. A step sibling romance was something I had never read before and I was here for it! Onto Your Fault

My favorite of the three books!!! Omg I already miss Cal 😅. One of my fav book boyfriends all time. Broody but I love a broken man that can understand getting help and fixed for himself and his family. This shit slaps. Love the entire story. This was a 4.75⭐️ but only because there is a bit of a miscommunication trope to this and that irks me so much but I guess authors have said that it’s necessary but as a reader I’m just like nooooo. But it wasn’t enough of the story to bring my star rating down that badly. Love loved it and all the Kane men ♥️

Looks like I’m waiting til like memorial day weekend gahhhh ! Ashley what do u do to me! I love it when Teddy narrates ur books. Perfect rockstar voice just like in “the Words”.

This book had me intrigued the entire way through. Even tho it had some slower parts, it was so so thrilling. I did find myself saying “of course they got away, etc” and in some ways it make it feel like the story was dragging on, but none the less it was so good. Just when u think the story could end, something else happens and you are like man Darcy can’t catch a break! Can’t wait to grab another Taylor Adam’s book BUT the movie was garbage. I can’t understand how an author can be ok with major changes to a movie adaptation that changes major factors of the books. Never will understand that

What a wild ride. This book was so painful, sad, tense, tragic. Almost like witnessing a train accident. You just can’t look away. I loved (while grimacing) part 1. This book is broken up into 3 parts. And the middle was a bit slow but it was so well written and engrossing. It captivated my heart and I love the life line of saying “It’s still beating” cuz it’s so true. I did have an issue with the yoyo -ing of emotions but I have never been through a trauma that significant. But as a reader it was eye rolling. Hence why it was a 4.25⭐️ read for me. Can’t wait to read more from this author tho !

This was ok. Totally psychotic but I did enjoy it for what it was. The characters in all of her books are so deplorable. It’s so hard to think of a positive outcome. Down to the last page even. I wasn’t blown away by any of the twists. I would read it and nod and say yup that makes sense I guess. So the fact I wasn’t left too surprised is what gave this a 4 star for me.

Ok ok. This story was incredible. So much trauma and drama and pain. Scouts and Jameson are so so broody. There was so much angst in this secret romance storyline.

I have it a 4⭐️ because I feel like the end was rushed a bit? There were only like 20 pages left and that’s when the height of the story happened and then it was over. I wanted more from the drama of that part in the story as well as potentially hearing the convo at the end to Harper and Will. Would have loved to be a fly on the wall for that🤣

These two authors are so great at creating a story to get you hooked. I loved the first book in the series, Out of Seconds, and this was no different. The characters are raw and real. Plus I loved how much involvement the first book characters had in the second book. You don’t see that very often. And can we please notice how stunning this cover is!? Love LOVE IT! Thank yo for letting be an Arc reader for you guys!!!!
