Very informative. I felt that I learnt so much in a small book. The chapters were short but I did need breaks after reading some chapters

Tells the story of a young British-Punjabi university dropout who begins teaching English to Punjabi Widows. When the widows discover some erotic books they wish to tell their own stories based on their fantasises or memories. During the book we learn of a mysterious death of a young girl in the community which the protagonist, Nikki wishes to investigate. This book has absolutely everything from sex to secrets to mystery to absolute DRAMA. It’s fast paced and the ultimate book club book. I’ll have a full review on my Instagram @this_is_a_reaaad

An emotional tale about how a Muslim gay boy came to terms with his sexuality and how we strived for the acceptance of his family. We literally went through his whole life from when he realised he was gay to him forming relationships.

I loved reading this. Although I couldn’t relate to this book as I’m not a new mother not expecting to be one in the new future, it was nice to see what the beginning of motherhood is like.

Goes from topics of racism, mental health, parenting, finances to becoming a blogger. A fast paced and interesting memoir that I’ll be telling all my friends about. Already lending it to my sister.

Really gets to grips of what women nowadays are facing and how we can help ourselves get rid of our internal misogyny. Recommended to any type of person.

To me it did feel like one huge inforgraphic. I wouldn’t say it’s the deepest level of feminist reading
