oh my god gregor’s death hit me a lot harder than i thought it would. he worked so hard all his life and it destroyed him in the end and he could only despair helplessly in his situation and he was seen as disgusting and repulsive until his last moments

literally just bc i’ve not read the second book in this series and i wanna start again from the beginning (having read the thrawn comics but not the novel) and restart thrawn treason at that point… this book is decent im just stupid :)

yes, i skipped the essay. some parts of this were good, but mostly boring. the first 80 pages or so were hard to get through, then it was okay, but still not well-paced

the movie was better than the book, but it was nice to see some deleted scenes written out as a part of the story - it kept the story from being so familiar it was boring. however, me having watched dead poets society countless times, i was basically watching the film in my mind while reading this.
