I LOVED this book growing up. I guess I loved the idea of going out to a fun summer camp with other girls and being a little reckless, but yet still following the rules. I thought it was so entertaining and fun to read. I’ve kept this book in my personal library for years...and I’ve now realized it wasn’t worth keeping after all this time.
I am most definitely not a fan of this book. I hated the vernacular about her fat friend (umm, rude) and I did not particularly care for the main character and her selfish attitude. I also didn’t care for the way it ended— too abrupt and out of the blue.
