My Body by Emily Ratajkowski

yet another memoir, so therefore i dont give it a star rating. however, i found this interesting as somebody who has never followed emily. ive just never really thought about following her and thats nothing against her.

i loved how she was able to be completely open about her life and things that she's been through. i loved learning how she used her body as her weapon almost and how she made it her most powerful tool that she could ever use. i didnt know anything really about her until i read this book and i really enjoyed being able to learn so much about somebody that has millions of followers and how she has gone through life so far.

its a memoir therefore im not going to give it a rating.

however this was kind of a hard read for me because i would start reading and i would be intrested but then i would get bored randomly. thats why it took me so long to read.

despite how hard it was for me to read i still love the stories we got to read from dolly's life and how she was so open about so much in her life. it had to be hard for her to talk about that much of her life. i loved the lessons she gave us, i loved the random little recipes, and the random lists. overall it was great to read and it definetly gives a whole new look to what love is and what it could mean for different people.

oh my god the reread is this was actually better in a way for me. it helped me remember so many things especially with it being the 20th anniversary edition and having an extra letter from charlie.

i’m definitely going to reread this yet again but with a special task for my best friend who hasn’t read this yet. and i cannot wait.

i definitely feel like this is a must read for everybody just because of the way it shows how some react to certain things.

the idea of the fmc being so crazy about romance movies and all of these different ideas of tropes but cant see the one right in front of her is actually the best thing in my opinion. i loved the character of liz and the character of wes, and although some of their moments were kind of cheesy, they were the cutest moments.

i love how there is actually difference between the two and the fact that've always known each other makes me love it more. it has easily one of my favorite tropesof enemies to lovers but its more of enemies to friends to lovers. i want more of them, i want a movie of them which is kinda funny to think about considering the name of the book. i loved how each chapter had a different quote from a movie, it was actually the thing that made me want to read this so m ch.

who is my favorite character? wes, but solely because im baised
do i love the dynamic between wes and liz? aboslutely
is this one of my new favorites? yes for sure
would i re-read? yes absolutely 100%
would i recommend to my friends? yes absolutely 100%

i will start completely honest, i read this solely because of booktok. at the very begining i was disappointed and not super intrested. i was already told of all of the tropes grumpyxsunshine, brother's best friend, you touch her you die; those are why i wanted to read it but when i started i hated the pacing, i felt like it was slower then what i would normally like.

luckily i have a rule for myself where i decide once i get about 1/3-1/2 way through in order to deem whether i'd finish or not. i did get to a point where i decided to finish so i guess it got to a point where i was ok with the story.

would i read again? probably not, its the type of book to me where reading it once is enough
would i recommend to friends? only to ones who like books similar to it, im not just going to go around and tell anybody and everybody to read it
will i read the rest of the series? i'll give them a shot but im not guarenteeing finishing any of them

oh my god. im actaully in love with this story. its the fact that its a fun little like romance but also being able to spend time with family. the banter and interactions between meredith and wit are just the best, its easily one of my favorite parts of the entire story.

i loved seeing a little bit of an internal conflict with meredith, it definitly showed her growth that she had at the end.

would i read again? 10000% yes
is it kinda cheesy? yes but in some of the best ways possible
would i recommend? yes, i did before i even finished reading
is this possibly one of my fevorite books of the year? more than likely yes

the only reson i  might detuct anything from my rating is the fact that i know a stephen wit(t) inreal life and he is nothing like wit

ive loved all of the books for this series because ive loved the mystery and the idea behind it.

i am a ravi singh is one of the best book boyfriends truther. he is so amazing in the way that loves pip and does what he needs to for her.

the twist of certain things is both beautiful and gut wrenching. what pip goes through is harder then went most people could ever imagine and being able to see her make it out is amazing.

would i read this again? more then likely yes
do i recommend this and the rest of the series? absolutely, its great for people who want a mystery while getting a little bit of a love story
will i forever be lowkey jealous of pip and ravi? probably

oh my god this book. i loved almost everything about it. the new mystery, the little hints of love, the making decisions of who to go after, basically everything. i will definitely say that my actual favorite moment was every moment avery was able to be vulnerable. it doesn't happen much for her but when it does its nice to see.

i cant wait to read the final book and i cant wait to see where avery's story goes. i think the mystery of avery and her mother was amazing to see and uncover because it was so nice to see a mystery like that unravel. i will say the only thing i didn't really like was how the entire puzzle/game ended. (i'm trying really hard to not put any spoilers lol)

would i reread this series? probably, but we will find out after reading the final book
would i recommend this series? absolutely
do i kinda see some parts of me in avery? a little and i don't know whether to be ok with that or be scared of it

again i would 100% recommend. its probably going to be my favorite series of 2023
