While at times I felt like I was reading about a teenage/young adult pirate - both because of the wonderful narrator and the dialogue - I LOVED THIS. It brought me so much joy! The diversity was impeccable. The narration blew me away. And it just got me excited to read more. I hope we get to explore the relationship between mother and daughter going forward, that the love between them is shown - not only told. I would encourage everyone to give the audiobook a try if possible! But I am also going to buy a physical copy to keep in my collection. God I love reading
