This should actually be closer to 2.5 stars, but I rounded up for quality because I recognize its legitimately good writing, but I've simply never been into writing from this era. I reserve one star ratings for utterly abysmal or mind numbingly boring writing, which was not this. It gets another star for the title poem, though the sappy-happy spelt out moral of the ending was a bit of a groaner. Another half star goes to the rest of the poems, which are hit or miss and overloaded with filler.
