More memoir than essay, more personal than dissecting. Had I read any of Savage’s work before, I might have enjoyed this more, however all of the topics approached here felt too shallow to awaken any new thought in my brain.
Don’t get me wrong, the book is well written and might be enlightening for some, however to me it just felt like the reiteration of any white girl’s life.
