This was a great collection of short stories. I found myself falling into these stories and lives of the characters and being sucked back out at the end. Wanting more. The topics could get very heavy. The characters were well written for only having so much time on the page.

I had this one recommended a few times and I am so glad I finally did!

Okay so I loved the concept when I started and it still took me a bit to get going with it. Once I really started reading though I was hooked. Joey, Cooper and Fatty are such an awesome crew. There were times when I was like this is for kids… some of the content is pretty deep. Overall the storey was such a cool concept and the Velociraptor, and Hijabi space girl were too freaking amazing! I HOPE that this will become sort of Doctor Who style series. I need more.

This was so cute. I loved the characters, the settings, the struggles, the romance… and the pig. The whole novel I was thinking how hungry I was and how everything sounded delicious 😅 The idea was unique while still giving us this romantic gay love story. There was depth with the other characters and some problems to be solved. I would love to see a second novel!

This is the second in the series Pass Me By from local non binary authors/artists Kyle and Ryann. I need more Ed. I need to know his life. His story. His experiences. His loves. I crave the knowledge of his life and self discovery. It’s beautiful, passionate and also small glimpses of sad as Ed is now an old man. It’s this continuation from the first book of his experience and I honestly am so impressed with the story and what’s been done in such a small set of graphic novels.

This was beautifully illustrated. The story itself was really emotional and showed so much love and grief. Lia is fortunate to have a bad ass support system to help her while she navigates her emotions and her powers. Her hair… I cannot with how beautiful it is! Ten points for the Catholics being the bad guys 🤣🏆

I loved this book. It was exactly the kind of education I wish we’d had in school. I felt like there was so much information from history of queer identity to reasons to love being queer to not worrying about shaving if you so choose, while all being presented in a fun and light manner. Focusing on the queer girl experience this book still had so much quality information that I think anyone could appreciate and learn from. One of those “you don’t need to be represented” to learn books. All stars

Jo Martin has already stolen my Doctor Who loving hearts. I enjoyed this comic. Getting more of the Fugitive Doctor is exactly what I needed and didn’t know I needed. I knew it. But I didn’t KNOW it. 🤣😹 Any Doctor Who fans could easily enjoy this. And any non fans could use this as a simple starting point. Then hop on into the fandom. It’s bigger on the inside.
