First and foremost, I cannot get over how cute Duchess and Puddin’ were in this story. I felt I hadn’t come across many stories with the occupation this FMC had, so I enjoyed the change.
Ashanti was a go-getter! I love how much she strived for her goals despite her past experiences. The feelings she had of being pulled in so many directions and being overwhelmed truly resonated with me.
I will say it took a while for me to warm up to Thad in this story. It wasn’t until the grumpy exterior started to fade that I felt like I could understand him.
Overall, I thought the story was very cute but with so many subplots happening, it took away attention from the romance a little for me. Still would recommend it!
