I am baffled by the grit the women who ventured out west in search for a better life. Their determination is astounding.

Most of these children's tales have a lesson. This one eludes me.

This was lovely with a great message. Sometimes people aren't always what they seem. Second first impression can turn things around.

It was hilarious reading strips about famous people in history. The Jane Austen ones had me rolling.

Cain and Promise have this cosmic, lightning connection. It was great to watch them both find with they have always been looking for.

This one has everything I look forward to in a warm and fuzzy romance. Maverick was so dreamy and with a heart of gold. Bethany is drowning and needs some help. Her plate is running over. Their weaving toward love was lovely with just the right amount of twists.

Lizbeth and JJ’s love was worth all the ruckus they had to go through. Really enjoyed this one.

To be truthful, I almost put it down at the beginning because I didn't like many of the characters. The premise of two daughters with a Russian mother who doesn't show outward affection was intriguing to me. My biggest hang up was that it moved so slow. The book was mostly extremely sad to think that these two women went most of their life with a mother who is cold and knew nothing about her. The ending gave me WTF issues big time. How does it just do a 180 and get happy.
