The ability to grew and adapt in a marriage is something hard achieved. It takes works and a daily commitment to that person that you are in it completely. Lauren and Ryan have reached a point in their marriage where they have lost their bearings. They have become complacent. The way they find themselves again was so personal. They wrote their own path learning there is no set way to go about a marriage.

This one just didn't do it for me. I really enjoyed the intense connection Layla and Leeds. Their connection felt destined. I don't particularly care for books that jump back and forth in time. Willow was kind of sketchy for me.

Yarros doesn't disappoint yet again. You get a dual story of Scarlett and her granddaughter Georgia both have an incredible love story that gives you all the feels. Scarlett and Jameson's love takes place in England during WWII while Georgia and Noah's is present day. It's about the story we wish we would right for the people we love and the story we have to write for ourselves.

I was totally into the Cinderella vibe going on between Sophie and Benedict. The classic twist is wanting what you can't have is alway satisfying. I am adoring the Bridgerton series. They are light and fun reads.

This one was such a pleasant surprise that I really enjoyed. Our relationships with our parents isn't always an easy one. It's hard when you need something they can't give. Calla's journey to a relationship with her father was a tough one that yielded a satisfying result.

What I loved the most about this book is that you were given a glimpse into what the women of the Trojan War went through from both sides. I really enjoyed Penelope's chapters. You get her point of view through letters she writes to Odysseus during his years away. There is no denying the men in wars sacrifice a great deal but there is also no denying that the women sacrifice just as much especially those of the conquered city. Many happily welcomed death over becoming a slave.
