tbh i wanted to love this book bc i heard a lot of good things abt it but unfortunately it didn't happen for me, i almost even DNFed the book.

maybe the book isn't for me, maybe it's just not my cup of tea, but really i didn't get the point from this book, the writing is good but words like statues, halls and vestibules left me feeling confused

I didn't expect that i'd love this book so much but this book gave me a lot of things.

Maria is a different woman, she looks at men in a different way and she is the woman that you are!! Raif is a man who initially seems strange, a man who has no hope in his life but when he loves maria he loves her with all his heart without a doubt.

Now i love and remember them both in my heart <3

Actually, this is the first book i've read by Sally Rooney and it took me a while to adapt to her writing style. She has a unique writing style. Honestly, it's a bit confusing but i got it.

I feel like this book has a slow pace and i'm usually not into books like that, but this one is different. I gradually got comfortable with the slow pace of this book. The relationships between the characters are so complex, but i think Sally Rooney is good at describing them. There are some words i don't get when she talks about relationships between people but i'm amazed lol.

The romance in this book is actually multi layered but i don't think it's cringe and i'm satisfied with the ending, Sally Rooney seems to have written the ending carefully and i think it's the best for the characters

ps: i was actually annoyed with Peter's love stories because they were all inconsistent
