This was a great great end to the series!
Devastated over Gareth ending up actually having died...they really teased that out and made me believe there was a chance. But within the book, I'm happy that was the way the story went.
Did the ending drag on (albeit not as much as ZA), yes! Was it a bit too happy happy, yes! But it still felt like a well rounded series, with characters that you rooted for and who truly changed and formed their own bonds and family. I almost always have a favorite of the MMCs but by the end it was so hard to try to pick one (much like Elise lol).

I want to go read Zodiac Academy again sooo so bad to see where these characters are mentioned, but not ready for that commitment again so soon.

Nothing really exciting or inventive here - I feel like this story has been told before but with more tension and mystery. I'm kind of over the trope of the girl saying things like "he doesn't like me" when it's just so obvious that everything the MMC is doing is for her. Not sure I'll continue the series, TBR is too long!

I rarely rate books five stars and when I put this book down, I immediately knew that's what this what for me. Fast paced, intriguing plot, romance & tension, and plot twists....it had it all!

You can tell it was independently published, but I hope someone picks up this author because she deserves a bigger platform to get her books out! I'm thankful I saw a random TikTok video raving about the book and stopped a series (okay, two series) I was reading and devoured this in a day.

What a devastating cliffhanger I will be on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book (supposedly by the end of the year??) of this duology.

I LOVED THIS BOOK. Possibly my favorite of the Twisted Sisters' work. The plot between the group in this book made it so their love story wasn't stale. It felt so right for Leon to be the first for her to mate with and how everything unfolds with the rest of them is brilliant. It was sexy, exciting, and reinvigorated my interest in the series.

“There is only one person who can run rings around a king, Elise,” he said slowly. “Let alone four of them at once.” “Oh yeah?” I joked. “And who’s that?” “A queen. So maybe it’s time you started thinking about what good you want to do now that you’ve been crowned.”

I took a big break in the middle of reading this book because the pacing dragged for me, and I found Elise to be so frustrating and selfish with the kings it drove me crazy. When I revisited the book (I only had about 50 pages left) I was immediately pulled in again by the ending 😲😲😲 which then sparked my interest again, and I devoured Broken Fae right away.
