I love how this series hits all the major holidays - this was a perfect read to kick off the new year! Thank you to L.L. Gray for providing me with an ARC of this book. I loved it! With every addition to this series of cozy mysteries, the books get better and better.

The Riddle at the Revelry takes a new spin on the cozy mysteries we've been solving in Havenwood by bringing us an unsolved case from the past. As our main character Harper is in the midst of helping her best friend Bella throw the greatest New Years party ever - they also need to solve the mystery before things go sideways and potentially ruin the party and Bella's home. I loved how this played into the continuing love triangle while giving all of our beloved characters a chance to shine. I flew through this and couldn't put it down. I'll be eagerly awaiting the next installment!

This is such a refreshing take on a faerie romance - I absolutely loved it. Found family is one of my favorite tropes and it is done SO WELL here. In general I feel like this book takes all my pet peeves from other Faerie books and addresses them. It's great that the characters in this are older (not old, just also not basically children like so many other books). I also appreciate that our FMC Eva is strong and has been training throughout her life, so the additional training she gets once discovering the Faerie world is just to hone what is already there. The tension between Eva and the MMC is excellent - who doesn't love a good "who did this to you" and "good girl" moment? Somewhat spicy + definitely check trigger warnings before you read!

This was a 4.5 star for me - yet another fantastic read from Dana! I did like Book 1 more, but I think it's mostly that I wasn't into the flashbacks to Eva's parents' POVs. Otherwise, I absolutely devoured this. Thank you to The Nerd Fam for the gifted ARC.

This picks up after the cliffhanger from Book 1 and takes us on an epic adventure to save the world. I really enjoyed how the characters acknowledge and poke fun at the absolutely impossible tasks they are setting out to achieve - it almost felt like breaking the fourth wall in a really fun way. I adored this found family in Book 1 and it's so nice to see their relationships grow and develop (and the found family expand!) in this book. I love that it's not just the MMC who is protective of our FMC - it's the entire group.

This book ends on such a satisfying note that I'm nervous that it's a trilogy - what else could happen?! Still, I'll be eagerly awaiting Book 3 and can't wait to dive into even more of this world and with this cast of characters. Highly recommend this series!

Definitely some dark themes in this book - be sure to check trigger warnings before you read!

Such a cute romance read! Thank you so much to Dia Eve for reaching out to me and letting me ARC read this book. This contemporary romance debut has some of my favorite tropes. I'm such a fan of exes to lovers and I like how the story flashes back to show us glimpses of their past relationship as we try to figure out what caused their breakup. I also love when a FMC has a strong support network - Renee's friends in this had her back in every way and that was so heartwarming to read. I especially loved her male best friend and the antics of him helping to make her ex jealous. Such a fun and sweet romance.

If you love any of these tropes, definitely check this out:
- second chance romance
- friends to lovers
- office romance
- flashbacks to the past
- it was always you
- best friend helps make him jealous

Thank you Hailey for letting me ARC read this book!

I love fantasy, and this was my first time trying out the sub-genre of "cozy" fantasy. I enjoyed it immensely! I hear readers talking all the time about wishing their favorite YA fantasy books could have spice - if you've ever felt that way, I think this book would be a perfect read for you.

This book is easy to fall into with a cast of charming characters and a unique magical world. I love the creative details about vampires that are woven in throughout - it adds so much to the story and had me thinking about vampires even as I continued going about my day. Such a fun and lovely read, and I'll definitely be eagerly awaiting any future Moonvale Matches books!

Such a cozy and wonderful read - perfect book to curl up with in the winter. I got so attached to all of these characters! Thank you Erica for the ARC copy and for writing this heartwarming story. It's the perfect blend of emotional, spicy, and cozy all in one. Plus it had some of my favorite tropes:
- it was always you
- single dad (or in this case, uncle)
- protectiveness
- mutual pining
- small town romance
- snowed in

Definitely give this one a read!

thank you to Ann Holiday for the ARC copy of this lovely book!

if you're looking for a cozy Christmas read, this is the perfect book. It's like watching a Hallmark movie - but better because there's spice. It has so many tropes that I love all wrapped up in a wonderful cozy book. If you love any of these, you'll enjoy this one:

- it was always you
- dislike to like
- small town romance
- jealousy
- whirlwind romance

This is one of my favorite reads this year - I'm recommending it to everyone I know and can't wait to dive in to book 2. I'm always on the search for a well-done multi-POV and this book absolutely checked that box. The world building is masterfully done - it immerses you in the world effortlessly, no infodumping or head scratching involved. It's so satisfying to see the way pieces fit together as you learn more and more about the plot. The writing is snappy and witty - with surprising bits of humor right alongside devastating plot twists. I only wish I read this sooner! Do yourself a favor and get to reading.

I received an ARC of this for free, and I'm so grateful for it. This world is my new obsession! I thought that "cozy" books might not be for me until reading this book - it has everything I could ask for in a cozy mystery. It's such a comforting read, while still having a lot of engaging plot twists and surprises. I love the world of Havenwood and have grown so attached to the characters. Magic, found family (an entire community really), strong female characters, strong friendships, humor, small town vibes, and more. You've got it all! I cannot recommend this enough.

I'm sure that's true of the entire series. For The Puzzle in the Pumpkin Patch specifically, I love that we get to see Harper grow into her role as owner/manager of Spellbooks and all that comes with it. New, cute, mischievous characters come into play, and we get to know familiar characters from the first book even better. We get to see more of Havenwood and its community - and this book introduces both new characters that we get to know well and characters that it seems we'll officially meet in the next book(s). The ending somehow masterfully balances leaving you satisfied at the wrap of the mystery, but also desperately wanting more. Go read this series!!
