Really tough subject, but good writing. I came to care about these people.

I should not be surprised....and in fact, I should remember not to judge a book - or an author - by what little I know about them! I am so glad it happened to be available when I needed an audiobook! I am not sure I would be very adept at summarizing, but I had heard good things and I'm glad I tried it!

I will definitely be adding DS Manon, #2 to my TBR list! This was a great story, exactly the kind of thing I enjoy reading (which covers a lot of ground). I liked getting to know this character (Manon), and all of the character descriptions were strong enough for me to see them in my mind. This story kept moving at a good pace and the only thing slowing my reading was my own life....it took me a while but did hold my interest!
