I really wanted to like this book. At first, I did. As the memoir progresses it becomes more and more difficult to find empathy for Perry. His voice when talking about exes who didn't want to see him was jarring and toxic. His blatant flaunting of how much money he spends on drugs and cars and houses comes off as bragging and by the very end of the book i had two thoughts.
1) I wonder if he wrote this simply for the money, he certainly spends enough of it...
2) Thank the gods I don't have to listen to this man anymore
