I always love a good Irish family drama. I didn't see many of the twists or turns in this book, which was enjoyable. Every time I thought I had it figured out it twisted in a new direction. A really solid read

This book is one of the best metaphors for capitalism that I've read, the idea of the "fevered" repeating rote motions over and over until they stop resignated with me in a very dark disturbing way.
I did struggle a bit with the constant time jumping but it's beautifully written and very easy to read. I would definitely try more by this author.
