Overall I liked this book and series. In total I would rate the series as a whole as a 4.5 star series. This book made me put it down in the middle. The pacing is much slower than the other two and even though things "wrap up" it feels unfinished.

I really like this authors use of myths, religion and legends. The 7 deadly sins each being a distinct person was very interesting but I wished we had more from them. There is potential for side characters having their own storylines played out.. I would've really loved to see Pride and Lucia find common ground.

<SPOILER> But I am happy that at the end Amelia gets her powers back, because books in which the main character has to sacrifice her powers for her man is just meh. <Spoilers>

OK...lets talk about it! I really wanted to dislike this book. I thought i was going to after the first 10 or so chapters. And if you read it you know what I mean. She pulls you in and then just kicks you in the shins. But what a surprise this book turned out to be. It was such an emotional rollercoaster. I put it down after a few chapters, because it felt like it was going to be a slog and then reupped it via audible which definately helped to chunk away at it. My main issue with this book is just Bryce....she really is not likeable....but everyone else is. It's the supporting characters for me that really drive this book. Then before you know if the plot sneaks up on you and youre soooo involved.  It ends in such a way that you could just leave it here if she wanted to, but I am going to HAVE TO read the next book.

I LOVED that this was a POC romance. It took a bit more suspension of disbelief to get into their relationship for me. But once I was into it I was 100% on board. Instead of a brother book, i would really like if there was another book/installment about thier relationship, simply because I feel like Damon is bound to keep fucking up and I'd like to see their relationship grow/progress. It would be nice to see him approach therapy and resolve some of his abandonment issues. This book is super spicy too!

Another super cute college sports romance. I really liked this one. It was fun and a quick read. It probably could've been developed a little more- for example we dont know if West made it to the NBA and was scouted. It would've been nice to also delve more into his parents and their relationships. Meeting them, meeting Monty, finally or something. I couldn't give it 5 stars because to me it didnt feel finished.

I hated this book. The main character is so irritating. There is nothing likeable about her. Also I'm so tired of reading books where the main character is stupid. She's supposed to be highly trained but never uses any of her training or common sense, or deductive reasoning. I feel like this book could've gone a completely different direction if the main character had just an OUNCE of self preservation, or empathy for others. She plunges headlong into stupid decisions and is shocked when there are consequences. The author has laid little easter eggs of things around the book but I just dont care enough or like the main character enough to continue reading the books.

The most interesting part of this story for me was Warrick Farkosh and the Hal al Haz prisoners, and even in that we dont get enough of it. That was a great opportunity to expand the world and world building. I wouldve liked to know more about the people /beings in it. I think a better ending point of this book wouldve been them successfully breaking out of prison. I also feel like the parts that were sexy, or attempting to be/convey her desire for Warrick were SO POORLY TIMED. instead of being intrigued they just made me feel uncomfortable.

Finally! Thank God! It feels great to have ended the month on a high. I loved this book. This is a perfect figure skater/ hockey player romance. The relationship is super cute but also feels realistic. The characters communicate so well ad their entire friend groups is diverse and fun. I would love to read more about the rest of the hockey team or other of the figure skaters by this author. The only thing I didnt like was the epilogue had a pregnancy. I would've instead liked the epilogue to maybe have been about the furthering of their careers/sports. It is mentioned but it wouldve been fun to been able to experience it. Regardless this is a definite recommendation.

I wish this book was longer and that the plot had both time to breath, but also that it was more concise. This simply didn't fulfill my regency/ historical romance craving. I found it lackluster.

The premise of this book was good. As a girl who thought she was a null is actually an Alpha Shifter and can transform into a giant Saber Tooth Tiger to fight fae monsters. Sign me up! Except....... the trauma inflicted on her by the author has no purpose or resolution. The sister she was given in the first chapter never comes back in any meaningful way. The way its written drives me crazy. This book needs to be re-edited and fleshed out. Lastly, I dont understand the animals the other alphas shift into. Theres not a grouping or consistency. They change into monsters, except 1 is a bear, and 1 doesnt shift at all??? Also this book ends on a cliffhanger. bleh.

This is the 6th book in this series that i have read and something about it really fell short for me which was sad, and surprising. The female character has understandable trauma, but I wish she had found her voice a little sooner in the book. maybe I just wasn't in the mood for this one when I read it.
