i liked the beginning, when sam and sadie were just getting started and we heard about their past, and the end when it all came full circle. the entire middle section was just not it for me. sam and sadie were both insufferable. the book utilised the miscommunication trope way too much for my own taste. marx while great and my favourite character by a mile, felt like a sacrificial lamb for the plot to escalate when it was getting banal. overall i thought it was sweet and a quick read but not anything impactful ill remember apart from how THE ENTIRE PLOT COULD BE RESOLVED IF THEY JUST SPOKE TO ONE ANOTHER
