The Art of Being Normal by Lisa Williamson

It's a bit hard to read the Americanised version; English kids don't play "soccer" and an estate is not anything like a mansion. I think I'd have preferred the original text. (Aside to author: there's a typo around page 68-70, "Alegbra", which was also present in the hardcover copy in my library.)

But it's so worth these minor issues, and I wish there was already a movie in the works. It could be the new Love, Simon.

Many charming stories, a very few of which could have benefited from an editor's careful attention.

The foreshadowing is strong with this one.

A delightful treasury of colors and their histories. My only regret is that I fell in love with the orange-ish bright reds of minium and coquelicot, and when am I ever going to find dress shirts in those colors?
