I love learning about poison and I know that sounds very bad. I really enjoy learning about how people used poisons as murder weapons, medicine, and other things. I also love to see how people learned how bad the poisons are. Well, I just really love history and I really can't wait to read more from Eleanor Herman to learn more.

I want to start off by thanking Book of Matches Media and Dulcie Dameron for letting me be part of this book tour and for letting me give my honest review

The only issue I had was it did take me a few chapters to get into it but as soon as I did I couldn't put the book down. Merrick Forrester was a fun grumpy character and Drue Hart was a great sunshine character. Grumpy/Sunshine is another one of my favorite book tropes. This read like a wonderful Hallmark Movie and I loved it. This made me made feel so cozy inside and I really can't wait to read book two ASAP.

This was so cute and I couldn't put it down. I think read it three times in a row and I really want to read it again. It is something that I could see myself re-reading when I am sad or a little upset. I really can't wait to see more from  Sarah Andersen.

I went into this book knowing nothing about plants but the basics and learned a lot. I liked that it didn't read like a textbook, which I appreciated. I think it would be perfect for those who are just starting and those who have been at it for a while. I loved learning the history of the plants and how we began to collect them. I really can't wait to read more from Molly Williams,

True crime is something I really got into reading in 2022 though I would watch it all the time. What I liked about this book was getting more information from the episodes I remember watching. I was also picturing the episodes in my head as I read. I really want to read more from Rebecca Reisner and I really need more true crime in my life.

Thank you Netgalley, Edelweiss, and Rowman & Littlefield for letting me read and give my honest review.

Five stars isn't enough, I absolutely loved this book. I wish I could read this in a day but I needed some sleep. I loved Adara and Evren, their relationship was chef kiss. It had my heart breaking and smiling. I have also never hated a character so much since Dolores Umbridge. Holly Renee's writing was so easy to get into and the pacing was great. It wasn't a fast insta love but you could see the confusion that Adara was dealing with, I loved that. I read it on KU and I have added the physical copy to my wishlist. Now I am on to book two.

I read this book in a day, I just couldn't put it down, I had to see how it ended. I could also see myself re-reading this over again because I know I missed some clues. I felt like I was reading a British crime show and I loved it. And unlike most thrillers I have read, I didn't guess the killer and any of the twists.  I really can't wait to read more from Janice Hallett and she is now one of my favorite authors.

Thank you Edelweiss for letting me read and review the book.

What made me want to read this was the keywords SYRENS and PIRATES. They are two of my favorite things to read about. The only reason it got a high 4.5 stars is that it did take a few chapters for me to get into it and I did guess one of the twists. Brigid as the female lead and Caelum as the male lead, they did balance each other out perfectly.  I loved how both were also very protective of Sorcha one of the other syrens. Once I got to the end of the book I immediately put the next book on my TBR. I really need more of Brigid and Caelum, along with all their friends.

I wonder if some of the old sea goddesses will be coming back to help

PS my heart is broken

Thank you, Hidden Hollow and Jessica S. Taylor for letting me be part of this wonderful book tour.
