i was looking for an easy listen, found an easy listen. the story was easy to comprehend, easy to follow, and easy to love. i listened to it on audio and i enjoyed the experience of listening to it.
i was worried about the possibility of a miscommunication trope, but i was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t what i thought it would be.
had me giggling & kicking my feet, rooting for the couple, and all that.
also a fun listen if you’re into conservationism and environmentalism. bonus points for the pets & other animals included.

trauma changes you. it wraps itself around you and forces you to rebuild yourself stronger and braver than you ever thought you’d need to be.
and this book, this duology, portrays that. healing isn’t linear and that’s often portrayed in media. i also appreciate how it shows how scarring having an alcoholic parent can be. even when they’re sober, the relationship will never be the same.
this book was heartbreaking, healing, and hell bent on making me emotional.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 5%.
nothing against this book, just wasn’t for me at that moment in time!
might go back a bit later and try again!

jeez this book smacked me upside the head. i was recommended it through an irl friends book title swap for a lil book club kinda thing we do and i knew it would be hard to read, but the emotions i felt were so real.
obviously look up the TW/CW and respect your mental state in terms of whether this book is for you

i love the continuation of this universe and cannot wait to keep reading.
the plot is fun, light-hearted, and has a touch of mystery. some moments had me blushing and giggling, some had my jaw on the floor, and some had me gasping. it was so interesting to see the story develop and the characters develop.

i love the non-toxic depiction of a sport that is often synonymous in media to toxic-masculinity.
bitty and jack were adorable, the found family energy of samwell is perfect, and i truly loved getting to experience this universe

picked this one up a while ago on a stuff your kindle day… do not regret it one bit. i grew up obsessing over wattpad romances and even dabbling in writing my own, so the trope and the story felt very nostalgic to me.
very quick read, very fun, very sweet.

falon knows how to make me blush and giggle like i’m not asexual and aromantic. and i will read everything she writes with NO hesitation.
grayson and emmy were truly so fun to learn about. the tension, the slow-burn, the enemies to lovers of it all… truly wonderful.
as a girlie who isn’t a HUGE fan of the miscommunication trope or the “leaves mid conversation because they’ve heard enough” trope, falon did it really well. i’m also a girlie who loves to read everyday romance and small gestures of love, so this book truly hit so good.

this book was another wonderful addition to the finlay donovan series! we got to see our favorite characters return, more drama unfold, and got more love triangle!
also, the way the books line up almost perfectly with the books finlay is writing is so satisfying and such a fun plot point!

i was recommended this book and i’m glad i read it! at first, i found myself hating every character—but in the way that makes them interesting— and it was really fun to see the characters slowly come out of their work characterization into the real them.
lenny was insufferable the entire time and i am SO glad that she got what she fucking deserved. i am sad Felicia didn’t have a come to grace moment though.
