Bad Boy Blues by Saffron A. Kent
bad boy blues had the potential but it was just meh. it just dragged which led me to skim read the last few chapters. i didn’t even care for the ending because it was just boring at this point.
the sexual chemistry was off the charts. like their stares and sexual tension was strong, like i could feel it. bruh.
the dirty talk was cringy af, ngl. it felt weird and had a try-hard kind of feeling to it.
art, the little dude was cute but sometimes his speech made it hard for me to believe he is five years old. i don’t know but yeah. other characters were just props to set up for plot development, like for example, near to the end his friends are suddenly mentioned out of nowhere. like why now? it felt empty with its approach.
zach, he felt a little hollow. i don’t believe him when he said i love you to her. he’s described as her bully since they met but i never really got see his bully side. if you’re going to write a bully character, make him a bully. zach lost this trait.
his mother and father are pure garbage but i still think zach should’ve stood up to his father, confronting him for being a stupid little bitch for bullying him and abusing his mother. i mean, if my father was abusing my mother (even though i’m not a fan of her) i’d smack that mf across the world and six feet under. nobody touches my mama.
the whole bike flying show thing was not my cup of tea, it didn’t feel badass, it felt circus-ey.
cleo/blue was a doormat. she was all bark, no bite. she wasn’t a ‘not like other girls’ girl, she was a clumsy, kinda annoying girl. the first thing that pissed me off about her was when she went through his things. i don’t care if she was bullied and he’s her bully, it doesn’t give her the right to snoop around his privacy. i bet she wouldn’t have liked it if he did that-then again, the girl is a literal doormat when it comes to him. i’m sorry but if a guy kicked me out after doing it, better yet naked too, i’d deck him sis. i wouldn’t care if he owns my heart or eyelashes.
a lot of things were blue. it became a little annoying and predictable. cleo’s blue lipstick threw me off, i’m sorry.

too many inner monologues. the story was simple and some chapters, in the beginning, were cute but no chemistry between the characters.
