I went and read this book blind. I didn’t know what I was expecting but it wasn’t this. I was flabbergasted, aghast, shocked and idk disgusted???? But that ending was so good. I also never know anything about greek myths so

That “plot twist” ruined everything and the female lead is so pathetic. The male lead is even more pathetic that can’t control himself but that’s obvious. I’m reading porn, not some emotional type of book.

I do not know whether i like this book or not. It's not a great book but it is also not a bad book to read. It lays there, in the middle. Throughout reading it, it truly felt like something was going to happen and the tension was building up in every scenarios but when it felt like it was going to reach the climax, nothing happened and that left me feeling underwhelmed. Maybe for those who love reading unsettling and high tension building more than action packed book, you'd probably enjoy this. Otherwise, it's not for me.

i honestly did not know what to expect from this book when i started it. All i know was, i wanted to read short horror books so i did. Other than the author's beautiful prose; the plot is disappointing. that ending is bullcrap. had i known this is about some adam and eve biblical book, i wouldn't have picked it up. I had high hopes and expectation. the only thing that kept me going was the lovely prose by the author.

Read this in one sitting; something I haven't really done in a while. It's not that it's so good that I couldn't stop reading, it's that it's so easy to read and the writing style is lighthearted that I couldn't help but continue reading until the end. Although if I were to rate this emotional wise, I'd have to say it is a 2/5 as I wasn't really attached to these characters and I did tear up but that's it. I would need to mourn, to lament and to weep for me to rate a book 5/5. It's a great book to read when you're bored though! :)

It' short and fun to read. Not fun as in 'woohoo' fun but more like 'that's so good for my adrenaline rush' fun. I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought it would so that's a bit disappointing. Still fun, nonetheless.

You know how there are books that you WANT to read and some are books that you NEED to read? This book is a need for me to read.

It was such a light read after the ounce of grief A Little Life had given me that I felt like I needed to stop reading at all. It was bad enough that I was grieving because I was too attached to Jude and adding a slump and a long hangover wasn’t the best thing that could happen to me in this month especially this month.

Anyway, enough rambling. This book is just too perfect. The timing for me to finally pick up a book to break myself from the stupid slump and it was this book.

Steffi is a selective mute and Rhys is deaf. They formed a friendship which later then became something more.

Maybe it’s because I don’t read books that has romance as the main plot as much so I can’t really say what a good romance book is. But to me this book, the characters, the flow of the story, the pace are all so perfect and so cute that I even giggled and laughed out loud and kicked air countless numbers of times. It was insane 😂

This book is also quite informative. It talks about anxiety, panic attacks, selective mutism and also deaf culture.

The only reason I give it a 3.5/5 is because the problems are resolved so fast and so easy that the drama tends to fall flat but it’s also not that big of a deal to me as I only needed a light read and this book is perfect for that.
