Eragon by Christopher Paolini

I love the Eragon series. I just don't like his style of writing. He uses way to many words that it almost feels like he is trying to sound like he knows how to write really good, but is failing. He has an awsome imaginiation, he just need to polish up his writing skills a little more and stop using some many words to discribe things.

I love, love, love this book. I've read it a few times and I still can't get enough of it. It also helps that Vermeer is my favorite artist.
Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister by Gregory Maguire

I listened to this book on tape and I liked it. I don't know if I would have liked it as much if I had actually read it though. I just enjoyed listening to the narrators interpretations of the characters.
The Preacher's Daughter by Beverly Lewis

I'm not really in reading novels about the Amish people, but I really liked this series. There was just something about the main charecter, Annie, that I really liked and the story was really well put together. Beverly Lewis did a really good job writing it.
