great book! i liked the plot twist at the end i loved how fast paced it was i read it rlly quick. i don’t think the plot twist was AS shocking as i thought it would be but i did rlly like the plot twist still. overall the foreshadowing and writing was just rlly rlly good. a perfect book for someone getting back into reading

the strength of the writing makes this book for me. it’s funny and relatable and keeps you engaged . the footnotes throughout annoyed me a bit, but overall it was really interesting, informative, and worth the read

the writing is beautiful and i think the interruptions from death as the narrator kept the book extremely engaging. but it felt a bit too long. parts were a drag. it really picked up near the end.

it was fine not anything i would recommend just very simple and took me a rlly long time to finish. i thought a lot of it was repetitive and unrealistic and although i liked the characters i didn’t care for their relationship too much. the book overall lacked any real substance or interest for me

i mean for an old english book at least there was a plot so it’s wasn’t horrific it kinda put me to sleep at times (actually most of the time), but there were also good parts and there was pretty good imagery. for me to enjoy a book i need to at least semi like the main character and victor frankenstein is so fucking annoying so this book was a little hard to like
