Extremely well-written; not the type of writing I typically go for but the book was powerful and relatable, whilst being heartbreaking. I don’t know how it would compare to my other five star books, however I feel giving it anything else wouldn’t be appropriate. Very well-done.

an intresting exploration of how classes impact society and the superficial yet complicated of the upper class and new money/old money. wouldn’t necessarily recommend but i don’t regret reading it. a typical classical book

surprisingly engaging, slightly slow and boring at points but overall great plot twists and not what i expected; never got too boring despite the repetitive nature of the plot

filled with beautiful prose makes u reflect heavily i think i would enjoy a reread of this book more than the initial read for it goes quite slowly and is at times confusing but would be wonderful to analyze
