My first Ali Smith and it was truly beautiful. Thinky and art-y all with an approachable lens into political conversation. Definitely for me.

Because Lana always gives me the nostalgic feels. Some poems are better than others. I listened alongside with the audiobook. It's a full vibe. Check it out if you are a fan of hers, if you are looking for groundbreaking poetry you can probably skip it.

Yuri Herrera! A new fave of mine! Perfect example of when a small book does some big things. Migration, immigration, language, borders, etc. So SO good. Read it.

First two pieces didn't work for me. The third was interesting, smart, sharp and beautiful.
