-had a strong start, weak middle, and kind of strong ending?? Very interesting plot twist came in which I enjoyed. Really liked X’s characterization and her wife, C’s character as well (kind of lol). Loved the alternate world setting which imo was the strongest part. Wanted to learn more about that.

-had a lot of potential imo that just like,,, didnt rlly work out for me idk. but i would watch it if it was a movie/fictional documentary!!! Such an interesting concept but just fell a little flat as a book

this felt more well rounded than priory and delved a lot more into the culture and history of the world!! loved all of the pov’s and none of them felt like a chore to read which i appreciated a lot!! ily ms shannon <33

seeing the causes of things that happened in priory was so cool too!!! a lot of work was put into adofn and i cant wait to read the next roots of chaos books that come out 👀👀
