I can't say too much so I don't give away the plot & plot twists & connections. I was intrigued from the beginning but it just got better & better.

Teas that can assist with sleep, arthritis etc area Ava's specialty. She doesn't realize how special she is to all the others in her life. More sister love than romance with such special magical realism.

The story made me cry more than once but still had the romance ending the genre promises.

So different! Ghosts & books & family & romance. I cried really hard, too. There is death and there is love.

Interesting and I didn't know anything about the Einsteins so inormative even if written as fiction. Good afterward by the author.

A Kansas girl & fan of Oz this not only gave more to the movie but also to the story that everything grew from. If even half of the ideas here in this historical fiction novel were actually how the whole land of Oz came about it makes this a delightful read. I loved learning about the stein woman that Maud was and even went to read more about her online when I finished the book.

A wonderful family story and especially Mika. So much is the same across years & race. We need to remember that. So much is different. We need to embrace that. So much needs to be equalized still.

I'm a sucker for a romance novel with MORE! And this one has a character who has face blindness after a brain surgery. Seems to be well researched. I was so anxious for her at the beginning. There is a major timeline flaw about 3/4 of the way through that I reread about 3x to see if it was me. And that took me so far out of the story I had to mark my review down a little bit. Still, READ this!

Slow to begin. I had high hopes and it did end much better but I probably would have rather just DNF. Again, it was better at the end and there were some really good parts but -- eh!
